I didn't find the Roland GR-33 synthe guitar script patchname for cubase, anywhere on the web... So, This is done ! I wrote it myself. It works fine (I have added an explanation to use it in cubase). But it is just the 128 factory presets, and not the 39 users patches...I'll try latter...(1h30 of swear) I found that it works fine if you create : - 1 midi track in cubase, to select the patch on channel 11 (default channel in mode : mono 11) to use all potential of GR-33 (6 channels). - 1 midi track in cubase, to record your midi track, on channel "all". Then, record the midi track in an audio track...etc...go to first step ************************************************************************************************************************ And I have added the file for Boss GT-6 multieffect, that I use too. I found on http://www.bossgtcentral.com/ This file inspired me to create the file for GR-33 . I think this file will be very useful for users. You can put it on your web site. This is my contribution for all the guys working hard to make a musician life easier (like you) ! By & thank you for all your GR-33 infos. Roberto (frensh guitarist) 2 Cubase Patchscript for : - GR-33 sythe Guitar (Roland) - GT6 (Boss) *** available for both 2 devices *** I found this for Boss GT-6, then I made my script for GR-33, myself with 1h30 hours working ! I hope some lazzy musicians will be hapy with this stuff... *********************************************************************************** Personal comment : I find very !!! "strange" !!! to buy 2 registered 500 dollars instrument, and go to roland or boss web site, and find nothing about using this jewellery with the most used sequencers. No more patch, too ... What does that mean ? Nothing to get the custumer satisfied ! To find life " Just making Money... ? ************Share this files everywhere !!! ****************** (Roberto) *********************************************************************************** Description: (from a GT-6 user, it is the same expalanations for GR-33) If you record with Cubase, and seeing as the GT-6 has MIDI Program change, you can control the Patches and have their names under Cubase.I.E if I want to change the program from Tube Stack to Uni-V Blues, which is alot of Pedal Pushes, They all come up as a dropdown list in Cubase With The Names, I think I saw a program on your site which is by Partheus which a Cubase Mixermap can do. Anyway that's something else,as i said if you use Cubase it goes into the : Documents and Settings->"You"->Application Data->Steinberg->Cubase SX2->Scripts->Patchnames->Inactive and then you either Create A Boss SX2->Scripts->Patchnames->Folder and put it in that, or put it in Roland or other, folders. Then When you Open Cubase SX or SX2 you go into Midi Device Manager,in Devices, and choose Install device, The GT-6 Then comes up as a device, exactly as a synthesizer,Digital Mixer etc With Patchnames, When The GT-6 is installed You can choose a MIDI channel When you record your Guitar Tracks, you can change your MIDI output In Cubase To Boss GT-6 and instead of having the program numbers on the MIDI Track You'll Have The GT-6 Names From Tube Stack (1-1) To Synth Brass(85-4) on the click of a mouse,I assure you it is useful , even though, by what I've just written and re-read it seems like a .... complete waste of Guitar Playing Time. But Seriously If you sore feet, from working all day, and you can't be arsed to pushed pedals while standing up, it's completely amazing. It does require a certain technical Knowledge Of Cubase, Granted, But It will save me alot of time fom looking in the Program list in the Docs and pushing Pedals.
